Branch P. Lawson was appointed to the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners to represent the Sleepy Hole Borough. Mr. Lawson is currently the President of the Hampton Roads Division of East West Partners, a community developer. Mr. Lawson has been employed with East West Partners for 29 years and prior to East West Partners Mr. Lawson was a practicing CPA. Active in the community, Mr. Lawson is on the Board of Directors of Towne Bank and An Achievable Dream, Inc. Mr. Lawson other community involvements include being Deacon at Smithfield Baptist Church, past president of Peninsula Housing & Builders Association as well as a member of several professional associations. Mr. Lawson has been married for 28 ½ years to Bonnie Lawson and has two children: Ashley who is a 2nd year student of Law School at Catholic University in Washington, DC and Patrick who graduated from University of Georgia in May 2009. |

Regina Hall was appointed to the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners as the Resident Commissioner. Ms. Hall has an 11 year old child and is a full time student at Paul D. Camp Community College with plans on becoming a social worker. Active in the community, Ms. Hall serves on the Special Education Advisory Committee and enjoys helping people. As a form of relaxation Ms. Hall enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Herndon, an Administrative Assistant, has been employed with Sentara Healthcare for 23 years. Active in the community, Mrs. Herndon has served as President of Chums Club of Suffolk and is a member of First Baptist Church actively involved with the Mass Choir and the Praise Dance Ministry. Mrs. Herndon is married to James Herndon, Jr. and they have three children, A.J., Erica and Renarda and one grandchild: Chelsea. |

M. Caroline Martin was appointed to the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners to represent the Chuckatuck Borough and was first appointed in February 2003. Now retired, but since 1963, Ms. Martin has served as a nurse, educator and advocate, healthcare executive and business owner. Active in the community, she is President of Suffolk Partnership for a Healthy Community, Chairman of Virginia Association of Free Clinics, Board Member of The American Red Cross (Suffolk Chapter), Treasurer of Suffolk Center for the Cultural Arts, and member of Western Tidewater Free Clinic, Physicians for Peace and Global Nurse Ed. Comm. Married to Brian Martin for 47 years, they have two grown children (Nancy married to Mark Tuck and Jeffrey married to Carla). They also have two granddaughters, Kelsey and Kaitlyn and a spoiled puppy, Mitty. |

Theresa A. Provost was appointed at large by the Mayor in 2009 to the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and presently serves as Chairman. Ms. Provost was employed with the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority for 13 years in various capacities ending with Development Director. While employed with SRHA, Ms. Provost developed and obtained SRHA/Suffolk City Council approval for the Orlando and Hall Place Conservation Projects as well as receiving several NAHRO Awards for the agency. Active in the community, Ms. Provost is a member of First Baptist Church with their Sister Chick’s Sunday School Class and their Stewardship Committee. Ms. Provost has two children, Carolyn and Jeff and one granddaughter Ashlyn.
