Clarissa E. McAdoo's Bio

Over the past 39 years, Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, in collaboration with many outstanding public/private sector agencies and corporations, has enabled thousands of individuals to achieve a wide range of goals, from participating in the community building process, rental assistance, self sufficiency and homeownership.

We have been involved in numerous community development initiatives to include the Orlando and Hall Place Conservation Project Areas. SRHA has contributed to the lives of our customers through youth leadership programs, literacy, self-sufficiency programs and homeownership programs.

From its inception in 1971, SRHA’s primary goals has been to focus on providing equal opportunity in affordable housing, community development and human services. SRHA will continue in its tradition of worthwhile programs and services in the city of Suffolk, as demonstrated by the attainment of 34 National awards from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment officials for program and administrative innovations since 1998.

All of these efforts were made possible by our partners. We believe that more has been done and will continue to be done in our city through meaningful public/private partnerships with other agencies and organizations.

We look forward to our continued service and commitment to the City of Suffolk.

Thank you,
Clarissa E. McAdoo, Executive Director
