Welcome to the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority's Web Application Portal, designed to allow prospective applicants to place an online application for Public Housing or Housing Choice Voucher programs.
At this time the Project-Based Voucher program waiting list is currently open for 3-bedroom ONLY.
The Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority IS NOT accepting applications for Public Housing.
Attention Applicants:
If you already have an HCV or PBV application on file you will not be allowed to move to the next step because the social security number is already associated with another application and you will see this message.
However, you can bypass the social security number by clicking the box that says ** shown below
The next screen you will see is shown below.
The next screen you will see shows the waiting list currently opened.
You can now proceed and complete your application. Once application is completed, please register for the web portal as described below and you can enter your social security number and other personal information that may have been missed.
To complete the online application, you will need the following information for all persons to be listed on this application:
- Birth Certificates - For all household members
- Social Security numbers - For all household members
- Picture ID- non-expired- For all adult household members
Upon completion of your application, you will receive a confirmation within 24 hours of receipt. Your application will be processed according to the date and time it was received.
Applicant must provide copies of all documents listed above to complete the application process within 60 days from receipt of the application. You may provide the documents by drop off, mail, or upload via the secure web portal.
