Letter from Board of Commissioners
Dear Members of the Board of Commissioners and General Public:
With the heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assure you that public health and safety concerns are our highest priority. At all of our facilities, we are very intentional about providing clean, sanitary, environments for people. We will be enhancing our current cleaning procedures.
As the news continues to be full of updates regarding the Coronavirus, I wanted to share a few things that we have put in practice at our offices and communities.
This will include a comprehensive daily cleaning of all restrooms and various touch points (doorknobs, handles, water faucets, handrails, etc.)
Hand sanitizer will be available and recommended at all entrances to the main office.
Additional hand sanitizer will also be available in the restroom facilities.
We have suspended Board Meeting for the month of March as well as client/staff meetings until April 11th.
We have closed all community centers at all locations and they will remain closed until further notice.
While we recognize no public environment is 100% safe, we take every precaution and safety measure possible and are diligent in our procedures with a gifted and qualified custodial staff.
We encourage you to wash your hands frequently, and if you or your children are ill please stay home and consult your physician.
We are committed to serving our clients, staff, guests, and community with a Spirit of excellence during this time of concern. As information and awareness is made available, we will continue to provide communications and updates as necessary.
Respectfully,
Quinton D. Franklin, Chairman
