Message from HUD about COVID-19

Dear PHA Colleagues,

Yesterday, Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Benjamin Carson, Sr., was added to the White House Coronavirus Task Force. The risk of infection for Americans remains low and all agencies are working aggressively to monitor this evolving situation. 

The federal government is working closely with state, local, tribal, and territorial partners, as well as public health partners, to respond to this public health threat. As part of the multi-layered, cross-agency public health response, we encourage Public Housing Authorities to make the following information from the CDC available to their residents:

• What to do if you are sick with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
