Public Housing Waiting List Open for Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority
The Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority is designed to provide affordable housing and to help people become self-sufficient. SHA will open its application process for rental assistance for the Public Housing Program virtually. Applications will be accepted virtually (online) for one, two and three bedroom units at the Colander Bishop Meadows, Hoffler and Chorey Park Communities by accessing our website at (www.suffolkrha.org) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday October 5th and 6th 2021.
Applications completed online must be submitted and received by SHA no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 6, 2021.
Applications will be mailed to persons with disabilities upon request. Application mailed must be postmarked within 10 days of request. Applications postmarked after 15 days of request will not be accepted.
