Public Notice - FSS Action Plan

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (SHA) has developed, in compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Program Action Plan requirements for the Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher and Project Based Voucher Program) and Public Housing regulations for the FSS Program.

These plans outline SHA's goals and objectives and provide information about SHA's current policies, operations, programs, and services to promote self-sufficiency to its program participants and residents. Copies of the draft of the FSS Action Plan are available at SHA's main office, 530 E. Pinner Street, Suffolk, VA 23434 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and on SHA's website @ www.suffolkrha.org.

A public hearing will take place on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 530 E. Pinner Street, Suffolk, VA 23434 to provide citizens an opportunity to comment on the plans before submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Written comments may also be submitted on or before Monday, September 26, 2022.
