FREE Tax Preparation

FREE tax preparation is available at NO cost to You if your household income was less than 56,000.00 in 2020.

Documents needed for your appointment:

• Valid Photo kentification (You and your spouse, i you are filling jointly)
• Social Security Cards or ITIN for all people on the tax return
• W-2 for alljobs you had in 2020
• Voided check and/or savings account number f you want direct deposit of your refund. (Optional)
• Form 1099-Ror SSA I you receve a pension or Social Security
• Form 1099-G i you receved unemployment benefits
• If you have educational expenses, bring 1098-Tor 1098-E form
• Interest and dividend statements from banks (Form 1099-DIVor INT)
• Total paid for childcare & chikcare provider's tax ID or Social Security Number
• Form 1098-Mortgage interest and property taxes
• If you purchased health insurance through the Health Marketplace, bring form 1095-A

Joint returns require both filers to be present to sign the return*

Virtual Tax Assistance

Call Suffolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority and register for an appointment TODAY!

1. Provide name, phone number, and email.
2. A Certified Intake Volunteer will call you within 24/48 hours to schedule your appointment.
3. Consent to the virtual process.
4. Provide all necessary documents and IDs.
5. Have your return prepared and quality reviewed.
6. You sign and file your return.
