Assisted Rental Housing Applications
Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (SHA) will open its Project Based Voucher application for rental assistance at White Marsh Pointe at Eagle Landing located in Suffolk, VA 23434. They are now accepting applications for newly renovated 2- & 3-bedroom townhomes.
Applications will be accepted virtually (online) by accessing the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority website at www.suffolkrha.org. You can begin submitting your application at 9:00 am Wednesday, October 13, 2021 through 5:00 pm Friday, October 15, 2021. Applications can be distributed to persons with a disability by calling 757-935-5057 for specific reasonable accommodation request.
The application deadline is Friday, October 15, 2021 at 5:00 pm, all applicants submitting online must be submitted and received by Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority via online or, if mailed, postmarked. Please mail your applications to:

All applicants will be required to submit birth certificates, social security cards, non-expired picture identification, verification of income (no more than sixty days old) and verification of assets (banking, stocks, bonds, etc.)
Maximum Income Limit of Area Median Income (AMI) for one person is 60% of the AMI-$35,520. If you have any questions, please contact White Marsh Pointe at Eagle Landing office staff at 757-935-5057.
To complete the online application, you will need the following information for all persons to be listed on this application:
- Birth Certificates
- Social Security numbers
- Picture ID non expired - for all adult household members
- Verification of income (no more than 60 days old) and
- Verification of assets (banking, stocks, bonds, etc.)
Upon completion of your application you will receive a confirmation within 24 hours of receipt. Your application will be processed according to the date and time it was received.
Applicant must provide copies of all documents listed above to complete the application process within 60 days from receipt of application. You may provide the documents by drop off, mail, or upload via the secure web portal.
